P r o u d.

I often forget how far I’ve come as a young women until I sit and converse with people I haven’t seen or spoken to in a while.
Sometimes I literally shock myself when I listen to what I say about my life and explain what is current as far as school or personal situations.
I’m proud of me.
If nobody else is.
I am PROUD of the women that I am becoming.

"Learn the difference between a man who flatters you and a man who compliments you. A man who spends money on you and a man who invests in you. A man who views you as property and a man who views you properly. A man who lusts after you and a man who loves you."

I call her Peace

alexandraelle:

I sought out Peace.

I found her; she told me that I needed boundaries.

She was right.

I have put up a fence with a gate and a lamp pole.

It’s beautiful and white and covered in flowers that travel from one side to the other.

If my flame is not lit, you may not come in.

samsaranmusing:

1. Be compassionate. Compassionate in both thought and deed. Learn to recognize that the actions of others is often caused by spiritual pain. Avoid contempt. Avoid those mental judgments we always make of others. Compassion leads to harmony and harmony and balance is the key to inner peace.

2. Be kind

Up Again

alexandraelle:

If you are reading this, take the time to ask yourself, what are you complaining about? Why are you worried? What is stopping you? Where is your light, faith and belief that you were given the opportunity to rise, yet again, and make that change you’ve been wanting to make? Stop feeling sorry for yourself and work harder to make a change, a difference, a choice…
